For example, think about delegating

• a task for the nurse on the clinical unit to complete
• to a team member the task of oversight for a specific committee
• a job responsibility that has been added to the nurse supervisor’s role

It is important for the nurse leader to follow specific criteria and ensure the task assigned is safe and appropriate. The second part of the assignment will be a summary paper highlighting important points to the delegation process. You will submit both parts of this assignment as instructed.
